About Leomia

The name Leomia (lee-oh-mee-ah) carries deep meaning for me. It was my grandmother’s name. She was a woman whose life was rooted in faith, prayer, and quiet strength. As the matriarch of our family, she carried wisdom with steadiness and offered comfort without condition.

Growing up, I went to church with her, listened to her Bible studies, and turned to her during life’s hardest moments. She had a way of making things feel less heavy simply by being present. Through her, I learned what it looks like to walk with God sincerely—faithfully, intentionally, and without performance.

Even now, her influence remains. I see it in the values she passed down, in the faith she lived out daily, and in the love that continues to shape our family. Her prayers still feel present—covering us in ways that words don’t always know how to explain.

Leomia’s Post was created to honor that legacy. It is a reflection of the faith she lived and an invitation to persevere with the same peace, reassurance, and devotion she embodied. Though she is no longer physically with us, her presence remains—in our faith, in our choices, and in the love we continue to share with others.
